Bay Ridge · Brooklyn
Small-batch espresso pulled daily, pastries baked in-house each morning, and a counter that feels more like a kitchen table than a shop. This is coffee the way it should be — honest, careful, and worth lingering for.
Roasted locally, pulled daily. We adjust grind and ratio by season so every shot carries the character of that particular bean.
Croissants, cookies, and seasonal tarts come from our kitchen every dawn — no frozen shortcuts, just flour, butter, and patience.
Wide counters, natural light, and room to breathe. Whether it's a quick espresso or an hour with a book, this space is yours.
Our Story
Sorrento Espresso Bar grew out of a simple conviction: a neighborhood coffee shop should feel like a place people actually want to stay in. We opened our doors on 18th Avenue with a used espresso machine, a reliance on local roasters, and a determination to bake everything from scratch.
Bay Ridge has been generous to us — regulars who remember how they take their coffee, families who make us part of their Sunday routine, and a street that keeps us honest about what good food and drink actually look like. We don't chase trends. We pull a clean shot, fold the dough properly, and treat every person who walks in like a neighbor.
